Plot:It is one year after the two and a half year training period. The lands of the shinobi are peaceful for the time being; although there is always a chance of change in the winds. Word of Sasuke’s new betrayal has reached Konohagakure no Sato. The Uchiha has left the company of Orochimaru and Yakushi Kabuto and is now classed as a Missing-nin. His decision was forged through his realisation that he would become no stronger under the Sannin’s tutelage. He also learned of Orochimaru’s fear of his older brother; Uchiha Itachi. This fear made Sasuke realise that if his body was taken he would never get his revenge on his brother.
When word of this reached Konoha, the first to be informed was, of course, Tsunade. The Fifth Hokage then proceeded to tell the remaining members of Team Seven the news. As you can imagine Uzumaki Naruto and Haruno Sakura were both shocked and relieved. It was mixed emotions all round. Over the next few weeks Naruto felt the need to spread the news to the Rookie Nine and soon the whole village knew. Now, with a new found determination, Uzumaki Naruto is fired up and ready to search for his old friend once again. He still holds that lifetime promise to Sakura to this very day; to bring Sasuke back to Konoha. Of course, the rest of the Konoha 11 (Naruto, Sakura, Ino, Chouji, Shikamaru, Tenten, Neji, Rock Lee, Kiba, Hinata, Shino) want to chip in and help out. Sai has been formally dismissed from ‘Root’ ANBU – after Tsunade requested it - and is now taking up his position in Team Kakashi more permanently.
Orochimaru’s location is currently unknown to all of the shinobi villages. For it has now passed the three years and the Snake Sannin will now be searching for a replacement for the raven-haired Uchiha, until he can find him once again. It is unknown whether he is planning war or an attack on Konoha; but one thing is certain, that it will come eventually. Crushing Konoha is still one of Orochimaru’s main goals.
During Sasuke's short period of training he decided that it would be time to leave the great Snake Sennin. Even though the two haven't fought yet. Sasuke continues to plan has way away from the grasp of Sennin's hand and make this escape. For now though Sasuke waits for the moment to stirke Orochimaru down.
The criminal organisation of Akatsuki is still searching for Jinchuuriki's containing the precious demons that they will use to achieve their goal. Currently they have captured five of the nine tailed demons; Ichibi, Nibi, Sanbi, Yonbi and Shichibi. With only four more demons to find - one being inside of Naruto - the Akatsuki are creeping ever closer to capturing all of the demons. Their ultimate goal: to use these demons to create wars and make all shinobi villages dependant on them alone. With this, they can control the world.
But, for the moment, the world will carry on as normal.
