Naruto: Ten Years Later
It has been ten years since our heroes have last been seen. And a lot has happened since then.
Most Recently...
The Akatsuki has official been disbanded. The remaining members have found a new reason for life and went off in search of personal goals. Those that had been remaining loyal to the organization no longer have direction. They are lost on their own and wander freely. The Jinchuuriki of the world, including the Rokudaime Hokage, are safe. The Bijuu are no longer the intended targets of the new groups that are coming from the ashes of the Akatsuki.
Tobi and Pein have remained together. They, along with Hozuki Suigetsu, have a new plan. The two former Akatsuki leaders have formed Shikai, while the former Hebi member has formed Hakumei. Both have the same goal : Take the villages. But neither will pull a full frontal attack. They have chosen a quieter route. They will recruit loyal villagers to the five great Shinobi villages that have something against the Kages. These will be their spies, acting as if nothing were different, taking information to their respective leaders and helping them plan an attack at an opportune time.
But there are perils for the networks of spies within the villages. It is a race against each other. Shikai and Hakumei will be in an underground power struggle. They will be fighting to claim a village first. There is a third party that can cause problems as well. The villages themselves. Should someone suspect foul play, or the Kage him or herself figure out something is amiss, the consequences will be dire. The opportune moment will be taken and a full battle will ensue, pitting loyal villager against loyal villager.
This will be an interesting battle of wits and race against time and each other. Three variables, fighting against each other to keep the world at peace. Will you be loyal to your Kage? Or will you be open for recruitment into one of two 'evil' organizations?
