The Bounty Hunter War
A number of bounty hunters began to rise from the shadows, each searching for some of the greatest bounties in the world. For the ignorant hunters, it seemed as a contest. For others, it was Honor. After an assassination attempt on the Hokage, Leaf Loyal Hunters grouped together to fight for their village. As it always is, there was an opposing group. The group consisted of ninjas from all great villages which were just out to get rich and fast. Slowly, both sides began to plan for the inevitable combat. It was no longer about money, but more of knocking out the opponent hunters. Each side had squadrons who were specially picked to get in, set traps and get out. But with an army of squadrons, there is always a battalion of rouges. Among these rouges stood ruthless ninjas, armed with explosives, Kunai, Swords, and knowledge of some great Jutshus lost to us forever.
After fifteen years of fighting, the ninjas grew tired, hungry and poor. Both side showed no chances of winning, and it was known that neither side would. Both sides were losing more soldiers faster than they could recruit them. The was tearing the bounty hunters apart from the inside out, and soon, bounty hunters were as hated as the scum they searched for. Finally, hunters from both sides rose up, demanding that there be a treaty. Both sides felt the same way, as if they had known that they made such a great mistake and that it had to be done. From then on, the war was over, and The Treaty of the Bounty Hunters was signed. This treaty said that all bounty hunters served one common cause, and would care not for their villages, but for themselves and those who they served with. Some hunters remained with the squadrons they served with while others went on alone.
