Summoning's Description/Appearance:
The Thunder Bird is a chakra being and the personal summoning of the Yondaime Raikage. It’s massive size allows it to go toe to toe with the most dangerous and fiercest of summonings, and each time it flaps its wings it creates a brain rattling thunder clap. The majority of Kumogakure’s residents can identify it upon sight, and it’s comparable to the mythological phoenix.
Jutsus of Summoning/Character:
Just as it’s human partner, the Thunder Bird has a natural skill with raiton techniques. It’s attacks are simple, but effective.
~The Thunder Bird will tuck its wings in and dive towards an opponent at a rapid speed, basically becoming a striking lightning bolt.
~The Thunder Bird has a technique similar to that of Chidori Nagashi, as lightning will begin to radiate from its body and strike anything its making contact with.
~The Thunder Bird will direct watts of electricity either from itself or another source towards a target.
~The Thunder Bird can also utilize combination attacks with Hikaru.
Other:
The Thunder Bird can only be summoned while Hikaru has an abundant source of lightning or electricity near by. Before performing the hand seals to summon the Thunder Bird, the user must smear their own blood on the tips off all ten fingers. After doing this, performing the hand seals and then clapping their hands together, lightning will strike and kick up a cloud of smoke. When it clears, the user will rise into the air on top of the Thunder Birds head or back region. Only Jounin level ninja taught by Makoto Hikaru may summon the Thunder Bird. A vast amount of chakra is required in order to give the bird form and get it to a self sustaining level, so it should only be used once per battle. Because of it’s lightning affinity, the creatures weakness is Fuuton.
