Full Name: Kizu
Age: 20
Rank: ANBU
Gender: Male
Bloodline:
Clan: Heion Gekido (Calm Fury) Clan
- The Heion Gekido (Calm Fury) Clan is mostly remembered for their brutal nature. However, after their clan separated into two factions, a calmer group of the Clan lived very peacefully for several hundred years.
- The true mystery of this clan was only realized after their separation several hundred years ago. The clan’s abilities seemed to reflect their nature. The portion of the clan that became peaceful witnessed their abilities manifest into a supportive-based technique. The more violent faction’s ability remained the same, but grew in fierce intensity with the more bloodshed that was left in their wake. It is widely speculated that a Calm Fury Clan member is capable of both secret techniques, but it depends greatly on their nature.
Bloodline Technique:
(1) Sakkidatta Kiba (Bloodthirsty Fang)
- The Clan’s bloodline possesses a unique characteristic that is triggered by pain and bloodshed, unique to their initial brutal nature. After becoming wounded, a member of the Fury Clan becomes blinded by a burning rage emitted in a bright red, swirling aura. Their movements become more animal-like, their bodies becoming tense and agile. Their fingernails and teeth become razor-sharp, their eyes filled with anger and hate and a crimson glow. Their emotions and thoughts can no longer become regulated; they begin to act on pure emotion and will tear into anyone who may get in their way.
- After immense training a member of the Calm Fury clan can learn to control the effects of their bloodline. However, no amount of training can prevent a complete animalistic change after immense damage has been done to their body. Proper training can allow members of the Heion Gekido clan to still gain animal-like qualities, but also allows them to be fully conscious of all their actions. The best trained clan members can maintain composure until their blood loss has reached a critical level. After massive bloodshed, their actions will no longer be able to be controlled, their bodies reverting to a primal state.
(2) Tamashii Kiba (Spirit Fang)
- The inverse of Sakkidatta Kiba (Bloodthirsty Fang), this technique manifested after the clan separated into two separate factions. The more peaceful division of the Calm Fury Clan still accepted mission, especially to aid their home of Amegakure. However, when they became wounded, they did not revert to their animalistic nature. It was later discovered that they had lost their once fierce ability, deciding their change in personal nature must be the cause. After experimenting in many training sessions, the calm faction discovered a new power residing within them.
- Once wounded, a clan member’s body becomes engulfed in a bright blue flame. The flame swirls violently around the Shinobi for several seconds, before subsiding into a gentle blue glow surrounding their entire body. The aura sticks to their body like a thin sheet of cloth, glowing brilliantly against their skin. The energy seeps slowly into their wounds, causing the broken skin to fuse back together. The amount of healing potential depends greatly on their user’s training. After a substantial amount of damage has been done to the body, the aura returns to a violent blue flame. The flame seeps deep into the ninja’s skin, relieving them of all bodily pain but causing intense internal bleeding. If the effect is prolonged, the user will die, but until then their body become invulnerable to pain or damage.
Village:
Residential: Konoha (Village Hidden in the Leaves)
Birthplace: Amegakure (Village Hidden in the Rain)
History:
- Kizu was born in Amegakure with a name that has since been lost, and to a family that has all but been forgotten.
- Kizu’s family belonged to an elite clan, indigenous only to Amegakure. The Heion Gekido (Calm Fury) Clan began its legacy several thousand years ago as a mercenary group known for their brutal nature and immediate results. As time moved on, so did the Heion Gekido Clan. Their methods grew less brutal, but remained consistent and effective. Continuing to travel, the clan went were their services were enlisted. Initially they were not very selective and chose the missions based on the highest bidder. As their methods shifted, they became very selective of missions they would accept…choosing only those that either sparked their interest or going where they were desperately needed. This change in nature caused much conflict internally with the clan, leading to a separation of factions.
- Kizu’s family along with two other prominent families decided to take residence in Amegakure, while a majority of other clan members continued to travel and practice increasingly brutal methods. Life continued this way for several years. Only a year or so after Kizu’s birth word had reached Amegakure that the clan members who separated had become out of control and were massacring helpless villagers in multiple areas. Sensing a call to action, Kizu’s family and the remaining Calm Fury Clan members set out to eradicate the stray comrades. However, as they prepared to set out on their noble quest, they were met be the stray clan members and a bloody battle ensued.
- A war of terrible brutality erupted in Amegakure, word of the violent struggle reached Konoha who dispatched several elite ninja to assist in the fighting. Their efforts to send aid were only to be in vain, as the battle ended shortly before their arrival. An immense effort to restore peace to Amegakure began, and cleanup efforts revealed a hidden child tucked safely behind a strong barricade. Knowing of the child’s origins, the Hokage decided to take the child and return to Konoha. After much debate as to how the child’s fate should be handled, it was decided for him to be trained under the ANBU.
- Several years passed as Kizu’s training intensified; his knowledge of the Shinobi way grew immensely as he trained closely with ANBU’s most elite ninja. His existence remained mostly a secret up until the attack on Konoha erupted. Kizu’s efforts in the struggle against the Sound and Sand Shinobi were widely recognized by the Hokage, grating him free roam as an elite ANBU member. His life now consists of S-ranked missions for the Village Hidden in the Leaves. He is fully aware of his origins, and maintains his family’s values, but has also adopted many Konoha beliefs.
- The name Kizu is a code name designated to this specific Shinobi, given his bloodline technique the name Kizu was deemed appropriate.

ANBU Mask:
i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37/Scottyp123/anbumask.gif
- Kizu appearance is that of a very athletic and well conditioned Shinobi. His body is well toned, and strong but not overly bulky with muscle. His face is clean shaven, and is deceiving to his age…often giving him the appearance of a much younger person. Walking with a strong confidence, but at a steady pace if often Kizu’s approach. His eyes are strong but comforting, giving a trusting nature to his appearance. Emotionless best describes his average look, not that he lacks emotion, but that he often seems to be looking far off into the distance not regarding the things around him. When he is acknowledged or spoken to, he can show a variety of emotions, most of the time characterized with a gentle smile.
Personality:
Outside of Battle:
- Kizu tends to keep to himself in most situations, especially while walking idly through the village. His eyes seem to seek out something beyond what most people can see, searching for someone or something that isn’t really there. When spoken to, Kizu is generally friendly and very proper. He regards most other people as trivial, but substantial none the less. He believes everyone has worth, but they don’t always live up to it. His general attitude still remains friendly in social situations, but not ever reaching a strong comfort level.
- In an attempt to retain his family’s moral values Kizu tries his best to be helpful to those in need. Often time, lending a hand when he really doesn’t have the time to effort to spare. However, despite his efforts he still feels emptiness deep inside himself. At times he seems to be in conflict with himself, trying his best to be a good person, but still feeling worthless and empty…as if all his efforts are for nothing. Still he remains steadfast to his guidelines and true to his village.
- When he is with someone he knows very intimately he tends to be a little more comfortable. Occasionally Kizu will even joke around with his closer friends, not seeing them as trivial. He is very socially competent, and is well liked by most of the community, but still keeps his true thoughts tucked inside.
In Battle:
- Kizu’s demeanor changes quite a bit once he enters a serious battle. He doesn’t boast, or brag about his abilities but has a deep confidence in his skills. Kizu will not admit to being competitive, because generally those who are competitive are worried about impressing others. However, Kizu does not take kindly to losing, for he doesn’t want to disappoint himself. If a loss is inevitable, Kizu will be able to muster the ability to lose gracefully, but the torture inside himself tears at his very being.
- Escaping his clan’s once brutal ways is the true nature of his struggle in battle. Kizu has difficulty retaining the anger boiling inside of him during battle. He wishes to fight more brutally, but refrains himself. This ability to mask his true battle emotions allows him to heal through the bloodline Jutsu of his clan. However, the deep anger seems to brim closer to the surface during each new fight he encounters. This internal struggle mirrors that of his true nature…a man caught between two identities, not really knowing who he truly is inside.
- His efficient ness in battle is often celebrated by his comrades. Kizu is known for showing brilliant strategy, swift action, and efficient methods. The amount of killing doesn’t seem to affect Kizu adversely. However, it always seems he is able to refrain from slaughtering out of malice, only in necessity. Kizu feels the bloodlust inside, but doesn’t act on it, no matter how strong the urges seem to grow.
Jutsus:
(1) Shôsen Jutsu (Chakra Scalpel)
- The user focuses their chakra into a blade to make cuts where necessary, though because the blade is made of chakra the flesh is never cut. This aspect of the ability can be used in combat, though it requires great precision to be effective. The technique can be used to cut muscle fibers, or severe nerves…rendering parts of an opponent paralyzed or numb.
(2) Tenshi Ayumi (Angel Step)
- The user surrounds their feet in chakra almost instantaneously. The energy surrounding their feet softens the ground below them, providing increased footing and stability, as well as shock absorption for any blows they might receive.
(3) Ite (Archer)
- After intense training Kizu was able to manipulate his Chakra Scalpel technique to become a long range ability. After forming the energy scalpel onto his hand, Kizu then grabs the chakra with his other hand and begins to stretch it much like a rubber band. After pulling the energy up into a long bowed shape, Kizu grips the center and begins to pull the energy back like an arrow with his hand that was covered by the scalpel before. The arrows act just as the scalpel would, severing nerves and muscle fibers from a safe distance.
(4) Kyusai (Salvation)
- Kizu’s least used Jutsu may be his most powerful. If Kizu is close to death in battle, he has the ability to kill a comrade in order to preserve his own life. Their life energy will seep into his body, curing all wounds and fatigue instantly
