~Open~
The day started off just as any other in Kirigakure, Rokuro awoke to the sound of a village beginning to stir after sunrise. Groggily pulling the covers from over his face and standing to make his way to the shower, Rokuro thought to himself about how he would spend his free time. Today was his recuperation day, his day off.
Time Passes
After stepping out of a hot shower, toweling himself dry and getting dressed, Rokuro left his apartment and began to stroll down the sidewalk of one of Kiri’s main streets with his hands in his pockets. His hair tossed gently with each step that he took. Although it was his day off from missions and such, Rokuro still had his sword strapped to his back and all his ninja gear around his waist. He’d rather have them and not need them then need them and not have them around. He wasn’t in a hurry to get anywhere in particular and so each step he took was done slowly and casually. Roku couldn’t deny the fact that he was somewhat hungry at the moment though, and so his relaxing walk through the floating mist was halted once he reached the nearest ramen shop.
Roku had visited this ramen shop several times in the past and happened to know the shop owner particularly well…or….he knew his daughter very well, I should say. She wasn’t working today though, so when Roku seated himself on one of the floor mats at a table in the back, a new face approached and greeted him. After she’d poured Roku a cup of tea and asked him what he wanted to eat, he recited his ideal meal from memory alone…
”…A bowl of miso ramen, topped with sweet corn, bean sprouts, finely chopped pork, a hint of garlic, and all the crab meat you can give me. Scallops will suffice if crab if unavailable.”
Rokuro stated with a wide grin on his face, then he took a sip of his warm tea. He had to repeat himself several times before she got the order perfect, but once she had it he tipped her ahead of time. Rokuro’s favorite type of food was definitely sea food. People guessed that that was the reason his hair grew out so long, and was still growing. The older villagers say that eating a lot of fish will give a man a horse’s mane, but that’s just old talk of course. It was in his genes to grow his hair out long.
As Roku sat with his eyes closed and waited patiently for his order to be filled, a slight breeze rolled past the back of his next and gave him goose bumps. Opening his eyes, Roku noticed that a chunnin he’d worked with several times in the past had appeared to his side. Roku didn’t say a word, but the look in his eyes was a welcoming one.
”Good morning, Roku-kun.”
Roku nodded his head slightly and opened his arm to offer him a seat.
”Good morning, Asaki-kun. What do you have planned for the day?”
Asaki sat down quickly and set his green eyes on Rokuro’s brown pupils.
”Nothing much, just a scouting mission at the Great Naruto Bridge. I have to inspect some cargo being imported…and make sure it’s only cargo. Want to tag along?”
Chuckling softly, Roku took another sip of his tea and noticed there was a refill pot on the edge of the table, every table in the building had one. He took one of the spare cups and filled it for Asaki, waiting for him to drink before answering.
”You know I always jump at the chance to fill the empty spot in someones team Asaki, but I’m afraid I’ll have to decline this time. I was told to take it easy today, to relax and rest my body.”
Asaki pulled his cup away from his lips and sat it on the table, nodding understandingly. The gleam in his eye revealed that he had just put 2 and 2 together in some way, figured something out that he didn’t notice earlier.
”Oh, I get it now. It makes sense, usually your eating home cooked health meals that benefit your workout plan. I cant say that I’ve seen you actually eat out since…well…the chuunin exams.”
”Yeah, well, todays my day to pig out and work it all off tomorrow. The human can loose it’s shape and conditioning in as little as three days, but I don’t plan on going past one and a half days….maybe less.”
Rokuro smirked, and he and Asaki sat and conversed for awhile longer before the chuunin stood and excused himself. The timing was funny, the food arrived just as Asaki was stepping through the exit door. Shrugging his shoulders, Roku bowed once and then began to eat at a slow, prolonged pace. It seemed like he chewed each mouth full for an eternity. Then again, that’s how you do when you savor flavor. At the moment, Roku was immersed in complete peace and tranquility.

Peace only lasts so long.. Music lasts longer. Music could be heard, but from what? As the music got closer, it seemed to be coming from some kind of flute. The music-playing figure walked into the ramen shop, stopping as he entered. The musician was a young boy, around fourteen. The boy had sapphire blue hair, cie blue eyes, was around 5 feet six inches, and was one hell of a good flute player.
The boys eyes opened after he entered the shop, spotting Rokuro instantly. His eyes brightened and he smiled instantly, calling out to him. "Sensei!" Running over quickly, the boy jumped into the seat next to Rokuro and laughed. "Hey Sensei, funny seeing you here. A day off is it?" The boys eyes were closed as he gave a genuinely warm smile. He was happy to see his sensei. After all, he considered the man his idol and was glad to have him for a sensei.

”Eh?”
That was the only sound Rokuro could make at the moment, but he did so in an inquisitive manner. He was currently chewing a mouth full of ramen, and a sea of different flavors prevented him from swallowing at that very moment. He savored the taste of the broth and its ingredients, then washed it down with the remainder of his cup of tea. He quickly refilled it, and then poured some into another cup for the new arrival. Touketsu, that was his name. Returning the smile, Rokuro slid the cup over in front of him, it would be there when Frosty opened his eyes again.
”Hello Touku-”
He nodded his head while answering the second part of the gennins statement.
”-It is....A forced day off at that.”
You could say that his mission was to enjoy himself today. He could have taken it at any other time, but he didn’t. Now, he HAD to do it today. So far though, he wasn’t regretting it. Roku could remember his first meeting with Frosty very well, after all, this would be his first time training a gennin team. They were special to him already, in a way. Each of them had their own personality and after reading about them on paper, Roku looked forward to meeting with them in person. Their introduction time was cut down though, as duty called that day. He had time to answer some questions, tell a part of his tale, and give a quick demonstration of his skills, then he had to leave the rest to one of the academy instructors. Roku was sure that he told the children good things about him though. Roku twisted his chop sticks into a cluster of noodles and gradually raised them to his lips, stopping a fraction of a inch away to cool them with his breath. He blew gently, as if he were blowing into a child’s eye, and then spoke out again in a playful tone.
”I hope that your staying out of trouble..."
He wasn’t sure if Frosty had eaten already or not, but he flagged the waitress down regardless with his free hand. His brown pupils wandered over to Frosty and she slid him a miniature menu. The look in his eyes screamed ‘My treat’. It wouldn’t be much longer before Rokuro was taken off the full time jounin roster, then their group training would officially begin.

Touketsu's head moved to the side once, making him look even more innocent. He opened his eyes, spotting the cup before him. Smiling, he remembered that he hadn't eaten earlier. He put away his flute, attaching it to his belt. Picking up some chopsticks, he started prying them apart slowly. "Itadakimas, Arigatou Roku-sensei!"Frosty smiled again, he was an optimistic person after all.
Setting his chopsticks between his fingers, he dipped for the first time. He pulled up some noodles, putting them to his mouth and slowly eating. After his first bite, he heard Roku's first question. "As for trouble, I didn't do anything today. Though.. I did snowboard with a dude in a red and black cloak a couple days ago back in konohagakure. He wasn't that bad actually."
Touketsu nodded as if this was all normal to him. He took another mouthful of ramen before noticing the menu placed in front of him. "Ehh, thanks sensei, but I couldn't eat more after this. I just trained a little while ago and can't eat a lot." With a small chuckle, Touketsu looked around. "It's never really loud here, I like it. So, what are you going to do later with your day off? A break never hurt anyone." Smiling, Touketsu took a third mouthful of ramen which finally shut him up. Looking down at his cup, he slowly continued to eat.

”Good to hear.”
Rokuro responded as he swallowed another mouthful. That time, it was mostly crab meat that he picked up. It was good that Frosty was keeping out of trouble for now, there would more then enough of that when they started their field work. Roku remembered his gennin days well, always having Michi-san lecture him after she bailed him out of a rough situation. That’s right….I’ll have to introduce all of them to her at some point. He thought to himself. Then Roku’s mind focused on the part about snowboarding in Konohagakure. He himself had been to Konohagakure recently, and ended up having a confrontation with another Hidden Mist shinobi. Now would have been the perfect time for a speech about wandering off to other villages, even during peace times that could be potentially dangerous, but he wasn’t in his strict mode today. Atleast he hadn’t gone there alone, but the red and black cloak part brought up several questions….
He’s definitely dedicated, he’s already started solo-training. That was a good sign majority of the time, but every now and then, training could be seen as a warning of bad things to come. The desire to grow stronger can lead people to do…questionable…things, but Roku predicted that everything would go smoothly. This boy had a bright future ahead of himself. Roku was actually through eating now and lifted his bowl into the air with both hands, bringing the edge to touch his lips. He glanced down at Touku from the corner of his eyes and spoke quickly.
”I’m not really sure…What would you do if you were me?”
Roku asked with a smile on his face, then he tilted his bowl forward and started to drink the remaining broth. There were certainly a lot of things to choose from; hiking, swimming, movies, a day of reading…the possibilities were endless.

Touketsu thought for a moment, quickly finishing his ramen and drinking down the broth. "Well, if I was me I'd play some music and chill. Wait.. I am me, but that's not you." He seemed to confuse himself, thinking for another moment. "Wow. Well, if I was you I'm not sure what I would do since I'm not you. However, a nice thing to do might visit a place you've always wanted to go to or haven't gone to in a long time. Or go on a date? You could just take some quiet time and listen to some music, read, or just listen to nature and stare into the sky.. Actually, a parade might be nice but I don't think any are going on."
He thought for another moment and then suddenly his eyes began to sparkle. This time, not with innocence, but with just the opposite. "Hey sensei, do you have a girllllfrienddd?" He smiled brightly as he spoke, nudging his with his elbow as he held the end of each word longer than normal. "A date couldn't hurt y'know." He laughed a little, staring at his sensei. "Or you could just visit another place if you can't get a girl.." His eyes narrowed at that, as if asking his sensei how he couldn't get a girl to begin with..

Listening to Frosty name off however many things he called out was hardly helpful to the decision making process. Honestly, everything he named sounded good to the ear, but not all crammed together in one day. Roku was taking his time drinking down the broth, until Frosty went on to ask him about his relationships. He almost choked himself to death and had to sit his bowl down and wipe his face to regain his composure. Sighing, Rokuro took a moment to think about how exactly he should word what he was about to say. He imagined that this is what it felt like to be an older brother, a nineteen year old talking to a fourteen year old about girls, but he didn’t want to be a bad influence. At the same time though, he wasn’t going to lie, even if it was an insignificant one.
Taking a deep breath, Roku started to explain.
”Well, you see….I wouldn’t necessarily say I have a girlfriend. I have…umm….three friends that just so happen to be girls, and I spend as much time as I can with them….without having all three of them in the same place at once.”
His cheeks started to become bright red against his almost pale face, and he began to drink more tea to buy himself more thinking time. He didn’t like the way he put that after all. He could feel a thin layer of sweat forming on his forehead, he felt as if every single person in the ramen shop was staring hard at his lips as he spoke, just waiting for him to say the wrong thing. He also remembered that one of those girls was the daughter of the man that owned this very shop and probably friends with the waitress…
”Besides, a person like me doesn’t have time to devote themselves to one person. You cant exactly walk through a forest and hold hands while shuriken are being tossed at you…..Well, you can, but that’d be a little over the top. “
He tried to end it on a matured note, but ended up silencing himself with more tea. He was going to need a restroom pretty soon if he kept going at this rate. Roku stood up and put the money for both himself and Frosty on the table started walking for the exit door, his hands in his pockets and his head held high. He assumed Frosty would be close behind and posed his own version of the same question.
”Your turn, are there any girls out there that Touku-kun has the hots for?”

Touketsu laughed as Rokuro turned reddish. "Ohh, Roku-sensei is a playerrrr."The boy smiled as Rokuro kept trying to word it perfectly, and never managed to. "It's ok Roku-sensei, you're right. Shurikens can hurt." Touketsu blinked once.. He hated getting hit by shuriken.
When Rokuro started to leave, Touketsu followed as if it was a natural habit. Then he heard the question about his relationships and he had to think. "Well, I've only recently come back home so I haven't had time to meet much of anyone. So no, not really. I mean I see a hot girl once in a while, but I haven't had the time to talk to any of them or anything."
Touketsu stopped to think for another moment, then brightened up at another idea. "Besides, I'm Frosty! No one can resist me.. Hah!" He stuck out his tongue at Roku with that note, pulling out his flute and beginning to play another song. The notes came natural to him, a symphony of pure soothing musical talent.

Touketsu’s musical talent was certainly something to be admired, it was second only to his one of a kind personality. He seemed like the type that was virtually impossible to discourage. The sound he produced by simply blowing into a hollowed tube quickly whisked Rokuro away into realm of utter bliss. The mood and frame of mind brought on by his music was more tantalizing then any genjutsu he’d ever succumb to before. The melody took hold of him by the ears and refused to let go, all together he began to walk at a much slower pace and close his eyes tightly.
Everyone now and then, Rokuro and Touku passed a sour puss as they strolled. They’d unknowingly walk pass one of those older bastards that believed the fact that they were born in Kirigakure gave them the right to regulate what goes on in the streets during the day. They were the kind that had a single idea of how life should be and refused to cope with anothers’ way of thinking. They probably didn’t approve of Frosty walking around outdoors playing his flute where others could hear, but they kept their mouths shut. Kirigakure, the Village Hidden in the Bloody Mist, wasn’t exactly the most peaceful place to live. The people here weren’t afraid of a little conflict here and there, but they checked their tongues in the presence of the Kiri no Banjin and his student.
I wonder where the other two brats are right now. Out of the three gennin he had been assigned to teach, one of had to be a trouble maker. That’s just the way it is, and the way it should be. No one wants to teach a perfect squad and have things go flawlessly all day, everyday. Trial and tribulation was must. Life would simply be incomplete without it. Certain people are paired with one another to balance each other out. If that’s true, I should be able to judge all three students strong and weak points simply by analyzing one of them…theoretically. Rokuro stopped walking and opened his eyes, it was a wonder that he hadn’t run into anything. He was just standing there idly, hands in his pockets, in the center of a busy road. His dark brown eyes were locked on the roof of a rather tall building, but there wasn’t anything happening up there. No sounds, no movement, no people. It was just a regular roof, nothing special about it. Without pulling his eyes off the building, Rokuro spoke aloud.
”Frosty, meet me at the top.”
A puff of swirling mist and smoke swept through the area, then Rokuro was gone. The young jounin was leaning against a doorway that led to a flight of stairs, and back into the building, on the rooftop and still had his hands hidden. At his feet was a scroll with the word 'training' written on it. Patiently, he waited.

Touketsu had been calmly playing his musical instrument, letting the music from his soul rain free. He swept through a couple of his songs, but never managed to keep the mood on as the two walked. No matter who they met, Touketsu kept playing. After all, he wasn't about to stop his music for non-believers in the words of the art.
Music was both an art, and a way of life to Touketsu. He played with his soul, not with his mind. This was his fighting style was different than most other people. Touketsu fought gracefully, and mixed art in with his tactics. However, his techniques were always on key and always the necessary melody. He never missed a note when fighting, and let the song of the battle take him along.
Touketsu had noticed their slower pace as they neared a building, but kept playing his music. He heard his sensei tell him to meet him at the top and then felt his presence vanish. Touketsu opened one eye, looking around but still playing his music. He scanned the building and looked up at the roof. Finishing his song, Touketsu tucked his flute safely into his belt and cracked his fingers. "I see, let's make this a bit interesting, Heh."
Touketsu began to perform a series of handseals, modifying some of his original ones. "Hyouton: Buriza-Do." Touketsu lowered his chakra before using the move, reducing the effect of the jutsu. A small stream of snow flew out in front of him, freezing a type of slide from the ground to the roof. Smiling, Touketsu performed one handseal for his next jutsu.
"Hyouton: Dasshu." Touketsu used his ice affinity as part of this jutsu. Modifying his speed using the ice, Touketsu managed his own type of Shushin jutsu up the slope of ice and onto the roof. Leaping on to the roof, Touketsu simply snapped his fingers. It was then, that cracks were noticeable on the ice. Touketsu had purposely pressed and slammed his feet into the ice when running up. Touketsu was injured, being used to the hard icy-type surface, but the ice itself cracked under pressure. When Touketsu landed, a simple snap of his fingers was all that was necessary to shatter the weakened ice.
Touketsu smiled, turning to face his sensei. His face brightened again as he motioned from the place he had jumped up. "Like it? I just love Hyouton." Touketsu laughed a little, all in good humor. He didn't consider what he had just done anything special, it was simply what he always did. Smiling still, Touketsu began to walk towards his sensei.

Looking on with his hands still hidden from view and his hair swaying gently in a chilly gust of wind, Rokuro nodded his head in a sort of approval gesture and thought to himself in silence. Just like I though, that free spirit isn’t just for show. He’s creative with everything he does, not just what he says. This is certainly going to be an interesting journey. When asked his opinion on the prior display of Hyouton manipulation, Roku simply smiled and blinked twice. After a brief moment of additional thoughts to himself, Rokuro rubbed the tip of his toes against the side of the scroll that he had placed on the ground, causing it to spin and roll on top of his foot. After kicking it straight up into the air and swiping his right arm through the air, he had caught it in the palm of his hand and unbound the string that kept it closed. ”You know Touku-kun, to tell the absolute truth, watching you takes me right back to my gennin days…”Rokuro held the scroll in a distinctive grip in his right hand, his left still being kept warm in his pocket. He slowly began to unravel it with his index and ring fingers; his middle, pinky, and thumb were used keep the scroll in his grip. His dark brown pupils shifted to the side simultaneously as he did this, he noticed a quick movement rush past him a fraction of a second ago. ”Let me guess, you were going to say he reminds you of….youself?”A familiar voice said dryly from behind. Roku peaked over his shoulder and threw Michi-san a one sided smile, pointing at her with the tip of his tongue afterwards. She was wearing all purple today and her clothes hugged her womanly form tight. Her jade eyes sparkled in the sunlight and her tanned skin was almost irresistible to look at. She obviously took her time to reach the perfect appearance. As she began to walk up to him from behind, Rokuro sat the unrolled scroll on the ground and started to focus chakra to the base of his feet while he stood on it. ”Actually, Michi-san, I was going to say he reminded me of Takashi. You and I both know I wasn’t exactly the hyperactive knuckle head of the team back then, and we certainly had a hard time getting along…”
”D**nit! Ketsueki Rokuro, front and center!”
Michi roared out loud as she stood, furious, in front of her gennin team. Ketsueki Rokuro, Hitomi Takashi, and Toujitakumi Elari were all fresh out of the academy and giving Michi-san a run for her money. It didn’t seem like they were in any rush to get along with one another.
”What the hell are you singling me out for?”
”Don’t question me! Just do as I say!”
Roku crossed his arms and leapt back, landing in a low hanging tree branch of the outlying forest. This area was the same area that Rokuro Ketsueki would spar with Zaer Nightmare in nine years later.
”Who are you to tell me what to do, your one big contradiction. Look at you, talking and acting like a drill instructor but dressing like a model. What are you, lesbian?”
In the blink of an eye, Michi was face to face with him, her balled fist knocking him into a spinning decent to the ground. Looking up teary eyed and red, Roku was cut off before he could say more.
”Just because you graduated the academy two years earlier then most do doesn’t give you the permission to back sash your team captain. This isn’t a classroom, and I’m not one of your pushover chuunin instructors. Jeopardize my missions and give me lip, and I’ll beat the nuts out of you, plain and simple.”
She pointed to the left as Rokuro climbed up his feet and moved a hand back to draw his sword out of its sheath, his eyes wild with anger. They were quickly becoming blood shot, showing that he was activating his kekkei genkai.
”The academy is that way, come back after you mature a bit more…”
Sighing, Rokuro brushed his hair back and looked over at Michi-san. She didn’t look a day over twenty-five. ”I’m guessing he’s one of yours.”Rokuro nodded. ”Just call him Frosty. Touku-kun, this is Michi-san. She’s the one who trained me almost ten years ago.”His birthday was coming up quickly, but that was irrelevant at the moment. For now, Rokuro allowed Frosty and Michi-san to interact while he thought back on past times and experiences. It was interesting to see just how far he had come throughout the years. He just wished his father would have been there to see him grown into the jounin that he is today.

Touketsu blinked a couple times, really fast. He simply stood there as the two people spoke, unsure of what was really going on. Arms crossed, fingers tapping lightly, Touketsu began to think of something. He never seemed to finish whatever he was trying to think of, because Rokuro soon began to speak to him again.
Touketsu's ears perked up at the sound of his name. His eyes blinked once, his gaze now resting on Michi-san. He was still quiet, as he listened to Rokuro finished talking. After Rokuro stopped talking, Frosty suddenly brightened up. "Hajimemanutse Michi-san. Frosty desu. Dozo yoroshiku." (Translated, this means: How do you do Michi-san? I'm Frosty. Pleased to meet you.) Touketsu smiled as he spoke, his voice back to its usual musical tone enriched with his youthful and playful attitude.
Touketsu then thought for a moment, snapping as if he had just remembered something. He was about to ask if they knew each other, but that would be stupid. They had to know each other, so instead he asked another question. "Michi-san, are you a friend of Roku-sensei?" Touketsu then stopped again, thinking.
Touketsu then remembered the last part of what Rokuro said. Touketsu tilted his head to the left, speaking to himself more than the other two. "Oro?" The simple phrase was what snapped Touketsu back to reality, the entire fact of what was said earlier coming to him. "Oh wait Michi-san, you trained Roku-sensei. Wowwww, you must be reallllly strong. Roku-sensei, can you beat her now?" Touketsu was looking between the two at a rapid pace, his voice hinting a tone of excitement as his gaze constantly switched until..
"Woahh, I'm getting dizzy.." Turns out Frosty spun his eyes too much. Falling down, Touketsu shook his head a couple of times, took a ten second break, and back flipped of the ground back to his feet. He now had his flute, having taken it from his belt during his flip, and began to play a quick-paced song whiles waiting for the answers to his questions, as well as processing over everything else. Music helped Touketsu think, which is just what he was doing now.

Just like that, the spotlight had been put right on Rokuro once again. He knew Frosty wanted an answer now, and he knew just what his student wanted to hear. He also was aware of the fact that Michi wanted to hear the exact opposite. This kid….is going to get me into so much trouble. Sighing, Rokuro looked up to the sky and slumped back, leaning with all his body weight back on the door. What is it with him, girls, and bad business?
Roku’s legs were failing him, he had to thrust his sword deep into the ground beneath him and use it to climb back up into a standing position. His face was bruised, his knees buckled in, and his nose was bleeding, but the young gennin refused to be broken down. All his team mates had succumb to his jounin sensei months ago, but he wasn’t them. He had pride in himself and knew that if he worked at it, he’d be the one calling the shots. After all, he had graduated at the top of his class. He was the best the academy had at the time. He was destined to do more then jump whenever Michi asked him to.
”Your still moving, that’s a pretty strong fighting spirit that you’ve got. It just too bad you don’t have the brains to go along with it.”
The young jounin woman stood loosely, arms crossed behind her back and all her weight on one foot. She wasn’t in a fighting stance, she wasn’t even taking him seriously.
”It’s too bad you aren’t like your parents….”
”Screw you!”
Rokuro roared fiercely, drawing the tip of his sword out of the dirt. He poised it to impale her and began charging at her wildly, his feet moving as fast as they could in this weakened step. Before he could even grasp what was happening though, he was disarmed and thrown into a nearby tree trunk, she used his own momentum against him.
”You always end up on the ground, Roku-kun. Did you lose something?”
”What kind of question is that, Frosty? Of course I’m stronger then her.”He could feel it, a hateful glare hitting the side of his face as harder then any slap ever could. Slowly turning to lay eyes on the expression of her face, Roku didn’t like what he saw at all. Her eyes was full of mischief, she kind of looked like Frosty right now. ”Oh really? And just when did you get stronger then me, Rokuro?”She walked out to the center of the roof as if it were some kind of ring. Shrugging her off, Roku closed his eyes and took a quick second to brainstorm. He had to pick his words just right this time around. ”Now hold on one moment, Michi-san. Today is my day off, and incase you didn’t notice, I was about to set something up for Frosty when you arrived. If anyone is going to meet you out in the center of the roof, it’ll be Touku-kun.”Rokuro remarked quickly before she openly challenged him. He wasn’t afraid or anything like that, he just didn’t need the unnecessary bruises. Take that Frosty. He thought with a smile as he watched him create another musical composition with that flute of his.

Frosty stopped playing, blinking. "Center of the roof? Ok!" Frosty started the song where he had left off, playing as he skipped his way to the center of the roof. A trail of ice followed behind him, slowing covering the rooftop behind him and creating a type of path. When he landed in the center, the ice slowly spread across the floor around him, making an icy type of flooring for the center of the rooftop.
Touketsu finished his song, putting the flute away. It was then that he remembered he activated his Furi-zu jutsu whiles playing his song. Looking down at the ground, Touketsu stared at the ice. Lifting his head up slowly, he smiled at Rokuro and Michi. "Ok, Frosty is ready." Frosty shook his head from left to right and began to stretch himself out, prepping for the battle ahead, supposedly.

Looking on with a fair amount of interest and hidden intentions, Rokuro quickly pulled his hands out of his pockets and wrapped them around his chest. His hands were a blur during that single motion, he used unnecessary speed in his actions. The only indication that he had even moved, for those that weren’t watching him closely, was the slight noise of his sleeves flapping. This caused Michi-san to flinch slightly as she watched him out the corner of her eyes. She half expected him to playfully sneak attack her just then, and he had faked her out. Smiling at one another, Roku pulled his dark brown orbs away from those of his past teacher and set them on his current student, his prodigy in the works.
”Be careful Touku-kun. She’ll knock the hell out of you when she gets the chance.”
Michi stood with her shapely waist to the side and all her weight on a single leg, toying with her hair as she threw the two of them puppy dog eyes. She wondered if Frosty was old enough to be toyed with mentally by a pretty face.
”Whats the deal, Roku-kun? You don’t have any advice for me?”
She spoke in her cute, innocent voice. Roku chuckled to himself at this, Frosty had just used his Ice skills openly in front of them. As long as the two jounin kept their feet perfectly still at the moment, they wouldn’t fall and bust their asses just yet, that was more then enough of a hint. After shrugging his shoulders and taking a second to think up a clever rebuttal, Roku spoke out to Michi in a playful tone.
”….Watch out for the flute. It hurts when it’s flying through the air.”
”…Funny.”
She responded, her hands twisting into a chain of hand seals. She didn’t call her jutsu out by name, she simply allowed chakra to coat her body like a second layer of skin and blend in with the surroundings perfectly. She was using a ninjutsu technique to camouflage herself and turn invisible. The sound of wood hitting ice came next, she had kicked her sandals off her feet to help her creep about silently. Roku could just barely make out the sound of her scooting slowly across the ice.
