Zettai listened to Hikaru's reply to the question about liking his kage-role. All he could do was listen, the honest answer just left him thinking. He began to run his mind over what Hikaru said. He hadn't been with too many people lately, and now he was thinking that maybe wandering wasn't always so interesting. Granted he got to see many sights and people, but sometimes the simple things in life are greater. Zettai began to laugh a little, he guessed that the every day things you do could matter.
He quickly stopped thinking, deciding to stick with his last thought. Laughing, back to his cheery self, Zettai nodded to Hikaru. "Good words, I'll keep them in mind." He smiled, continuing to follow Hikaru. He followed Hikaru to the dining hall, stopping beside him. The aromas were mouth-watering and it took all of Zettai's self control to keep himself in decent composure. Sniffing once, Zettai was speechless.
As they passed the ANBU, Zettai began to notice something. He could only see the elemental auras of fourteen of the twenty-eight. Zettai frowned as he began to check again. Re-coutning and ending up with fourteen once again, Zettai figured out the other half were fake. He laughed a bit, Hikaru was smart to boot. In a tone only Hikaru could hear, Zettai said one word. "Fourteen."
Zettai followed Hikaru farther, admiring the workmanship of the room. He admired the way the tables were set up, the reflection of the lights, the floor, everything. He was amazed at the sight, probably because he had never been in a dining room like this before. He noticed as Hikaru took a seat. Sitting in the seat opposite of Hikaru without invitation, Zettai proved he knew little of manner.. or didn't care.
He listened as Hikaru spoke once more, this time recognizing the words of a true kage. "I've heard similar words, but I've never met a man who I was sure lived up to them. That is, until today." Zettai was positive of what he meant. Zettai believed Hikaru embodied the true meaning of a kage, and thus earned a little more respect from Zettai. However, this time Zettai didn't bother to mention it.
Zettai noticed a waiter come in, looking at Hikaru. Noticing the chef talk to Hikaru, Zettai began to look over the room again. After a while he didn't hear any more words being spoken. Turning his head, he noticed the chef looking at him. "Uhh.. Y'know.. I have no idea what you could/would make or what even the names of the foods would be. How about this, I'll have whatever he's having." Zettai nodded his head to Hikaru, pointing him out as the object of the sentence.
Turning back to Hikaru, Zettai shrugged. "Ehh, I guess I have a lot to learn." He laughed a bit, still in a jovial mood. He had eaten fruit and hunted meat for his food, he had no idea what the chef could cook and wouldn't know what to order anyway. This way things were simpler. He could have whatever Hikaru was having, and learn what Hikaru liked at the same time. Not only that, but maybe he would know what to order next time..

Looking somewhat confused at the moment, Hikaru had to take a second to let Zettai’s latest revelation actually set in. When he actually took time to think about, things made more sense. This man had been wandering his entire life, he provided for himself and kept what he killed. It shouldn’t have surprised him that they knew the same foods by different names.
Hikaru didn’t care where Zettai seated himself, he was just happy that he had some worth while company with him at the moment. It beat the company that he usually had lingering around him inside his office. Leaning over the table to address the chef that had went over to stand next to Zettai, Hikaru spoke aloud in a casual voice. He could tell that the cook didn’t have any idea what was going on and couldn’t quite figure out what the potential sannin meant by his last comment. But, if the Raikage didn’t make a big deal about it, the chef wouldn’t either.
”The storm has put us below the expected number of guests today, and I know personally know that cooking is you passion. You express yourself with your creations and can cook for days without growing sick of repetition. I’m pretty sure you made enough to feed a towers worth of people that wont be coming, so bring as much as you can out here and sit it on these three tables.”
A loud thunder clap overpowered Hikaru’s calm tone and forced him to pause his statement. He wasn’t sure how much Zettai could take in, but there would be more then enough of everything. He’d refered to the Raikage as a Thunder God several times already…now they would feast like gods.
”Label as much of the food as you can, and invite your staff to come and eat with us. There’s no need for them to continue cooking today.”
The chef nodded quickly, smiling from ear to ear. He darted through the door to the kitchen, hardly any time passed at all and all three table were filled with every food imaginable. There were about ten main chefs on the kitchen staff, and each of them brought an arms full of food out on trays and decorated the tables with it. Everything from Udon to Soba, Unagi to Pork, Rice cakes to multiple kinds of Domburi, Nikujaga to Yakitori, Seaweeds and Mushrooms, Ramen to Korokke and Gyoza; everything imaginable was there. Each dish was labeled with a toothpick and small piece of paper, a sign telling its name so Zettai could commit his favorite dishes to memory.
Both Zettai and Hikaru were given three to four plates for now, there were more at the end of the table if they needed them. There were several signs hanging all over the dining hall that asked citizens not to reuse their plates. Next, they were given three pairs of chop sticks, and one large cup and one small cup each. Hikaru’s hobby, as stated earlier, was drinking and everyone knew it. His cups were both already full, ¼ of it being sake. It was also a well known fact that Hikaru’s taste buds favored hot and spicy dishes. Large bowls of Wasabi and Shichimi were placed right next to him for quick access when he felt the need to dress his foods up to his liking. With thunder still rumbling outside and a strange, floor shaking effect running quickly through the room, Hikaru asked for a moment of silence before anyone began to dig in. After that short period of time though, Hikaru and the kitchen staff began to load their plates and satisfy their stomachs.
Secretly, on the inside, Hikaru hoped this feast would help win Zettai over and bring that much closer to staying with Kumo as one of its current Sannin…

Zettai had closed his eyes, trying to think of what he would see before him. When he opened his eyes, all the tables were filled with food. "Holy Sh*t man! What the hell.. It's like they teleported. Do you have chef's or demi-gods?" Zettai's eyes were wide. Not only did all the food look amazing, but it took the chef's an extremely little amount of time to get it outside. Zettai nearly fell from his chair before he managed to regain his composure. "Ahem. Forget that happened.. Nah."
Zettai laughed, looking over all of the food. He pointed at the dishes of Wasabi and Shichimi, looking confused. "Are those foods too?" He picked up the bowl of wasabi, pouring a little into his bigger cup. He filled the small cup with some sake and then drank down the wasabi. He seemed all right for a minute, before his eyes widened.
"Holy freakin hell man, you're insane!" He started to shake his head, trying to get the burning taste out of his mouth. He drank down the sake to help him, only to find out he was now dizzy. "Bad idea." He shook his head, a little tipsy from the sudden drink. He waited a couple minutes before regaining his soberness. Laughing, Zettai looked at Hikaru. "Just what was that thing I ate?"
Just then, another dude came jumping into the place. Blinking, Zettai slowly pointed at him. "Thunder God dude.. shouldn't your statues have taken care of him?" He blinked, remembering the ANBU members from earlier. Wondering just how the hell this kid managed to get into the place, Zettai never noticed what he had picked up. Accidentally dipping a large piece of shrimp into some Shichimi, Zettai ate it in one bite. His face suddenly brightened as he shut his mouth. "Oh no." Was all Zettai could managed to say as he began looking for something to drink.

Hikaru was bursting at the sides with laughter, he couldn’t catch his breath if you paid him to do it. The expression on Zettai’s face was priceless, he would have to put him around Wasabi more often. Wiping tears from his watery eyes with his index fingers, Hikaru took a quick drink of his sake and cleared his throat.
”Wasabi, it’s a type of hot sauce. Because of my fondness for hot and spicey foods though, Kumo’s has been supped up, you could say. “
He took another drink and started to wonder if Zettai would get himself drunk. He didn’t know if he’d be able to handle the sake or not, especially if he was going to drink it to soothe a burning mouth. Hikaru took a quick second to sprinkle wasabi and shichimi over everything on his plate, then he began to eat more before a young boy approached him. He noticed that the boy was wearing a Kumogakure head band, but he’d never met this boy before in his entire life. He also noticed that the boy was trying to use wet currency to purchase a meal. Smiling, Hikaru took his hand and forced him to ball it up around his money.
”This isn’t a restaurant, and you don’t have to pay to dine. Eat your fill, courtesy of Yondaime Raikage. “
His response most likely would have been more…irritated if Zettai wouldn’t have gotten him in such a lenient mood. Everything was going well at the moment and after one of the chefs passed Rayout a clean plate, Hikaru continued eat. He was much of a eater and was nearing his limit, when Zettai’s words finally sunk into his head.
”They wont attack someone from this village unless instructed to, and this area is open to the public for the most part. Besides, when they’re this close to me, I’m the bigger threat.”
Hikaru said boldly, noticing one of his aids entering through the dining hall doors. He was carrying Hikaru’s crystal ball, and his was full of distraught.
”Lord Raikage, the storm is taking a turn for the worse. Several lightning bolts have struck inside the village, but they only hit points in the streets. We thought it would make a good D-Rank mission for gennin to go around and patch the holes up, but then the lightning managed to strike a residential home. One man was injured, he was thrown several feet and is in the hospital with a broken leg….What shall we do?”
Standing and pushing his chair back, Hikaru rose with a focused look on his face. Just like that, he went straight into business mode, he was in his Raikage mood once again.
”…I’ll just have to shut it down.”
Hikaru stated in a low voice, disappearing outside in a cloud of smoke afterwards. His image was as clear as possible in the crystal ball, it made one almost feel as though they were standing with him. He was on the roof of the Raikage’s tower, resisting the heavy downpour of rain and running through a chain of hand seals. It was too bad, now he would have to miss Zettai's reaction to the shichimi.

Without a word, Hikaru stepped to the side and wrapped his large, left hand around the side of Rayout’s head. He was in the prime of his life, in his twenties and one of the five great kages. Rayout was but a mere child of gennin rank. Having said that, it was easy to anticipate what would happen after Hikaru used that one hand to fling Rayout and his little toy out of the way. He would go sailing.
”Stay out of the way!”
Yondaime Raikage yelled out at the top of his lungs, his voice full of irritation and displeasure. He didn’t want citizens of Kumogakure getting themselves into unnecessary danger. He could handle this by himself, and he would never ask a gennin, of all people, to stand beside him in such a dangerous situation. He would remember the boys face, and he would personally visited the ninja academy and suggest that the young gennin he had just pushed away repeat a year or two. He still had much to learn if he thought this was a game.
The lightning bolt that had come down to strike Rayout’s puppet had kept coming after Hikaru stepped in the way. He had used his left hand to push Rayout, but his right hand was alive with lightning element chakra. It glowed in a ball of pure electricity and emitted a sound of pure static. His Raikiri was strong enough to cancel out the lightning bolt and end things with a stalemate. D@mn you boy. I could have already wrapped this up if you wouldn’t have followed.[/I] Hikaru thought as he threw a menacing glare at Rayout, his eyes on the gennin rather then the storm he was attending to. Now, Hikaru went on to run through a chain of hand seals as quickly as his skill would allow, his movements faster then most jounin could make out. ”Chakra Kempa no Ame!”The Raikage caused a chakra powered rain to fall alongside the normal rain, which was already heavy enough. A powerful thunderstorm was created when the sun warmed the air and created an updraft, this one was more treacherous from the moisture of rain they’d already had. Now, Hikaru was trying to use the two types of rain to speed the cooling of the air and the creation of a downdraft. A period of subsidence was close, the time when the warm air is completely replaced by cool air, now he simply need to deal with the lightning. His hands twisted into the rat seal before his chest now, and the Raikage closed his eyes tight. ”…Raiton: Kondakutamane!”Hikaru directed his chakra to rapidly pour out of his body and fall into the mercy of the wind while purposely drawing down lightning from the sky, he was using this process to constantly keep himself at full power, not a touch below or above. It hardly took any time at all before the skies were clear, the only traces of the storm left was a wet village with lightning impact marks in the streets, and of course the soaking wet Raikage standing on the roof. He couldn’t see the damaged house from here, but he wasn’t looking for it just yet. He turned and set his glowing eyes on Rayout. He had to take deep breaths to keep from blowing up on him verbally. He understood that the gennin had good motives, but, the way he ran out in a dangerous situation that was above his level was simply….stupid. ”…Don’t be so quick to dive into trouble…”That was all Hikaru said, then the Kage started back towards the doorway that led down to the fifth floor. Zettai had been watching from the doorway, glaring at Rayout as well. He believed the boy to be stupid, too rash in a dangerous situation. However, Hikaru had taken care of it well. He knew Hikaru was in a bad mood, but the man couldn't help himself. He walked over to Hikaru, smiling.
Zettai patted Hikaru on the back. Suddenly, the water keeping Hikaru soaked from head to toe was washed away, hopefully making him more comfortable. "Y'know, I agree the kid was stupid. You did an excellent job though. I havent seen such Raiton mastery.. ever actually." Zettai laughed, finally realizing just why this man was the Raikage. He began to walk with Hikaru, heading back.
He thought of one more thing, suddenly confused. "Hey, maybe I should've bound and gagged the boy?" He smiled, laughing as he walked. He hadn't thought of doing that before, and now he was beginning to wonder why he hadn't. After all, it's just like one of the things Zettai would do.

rayout was very surprised at his Raikages actions, (why wouldn't he just let me help him?) he asked himself, " i could have handled it maybe not as flashy as him tho show off he just wanted to make me look bad and his friend over there will agree with him over me cause there all buddy buddy." he said in a quite hateful voice this is why his family were travelers before because even if it was to much for a genin to handle he was still helping out and had it under control they didnt know anything about what he could do so rayout was getting upset which wasn't what he normally does " dont be so quick to judge mr" he said to him " if you think im weak then how about some training?"

Stopping in mid step and glancing back out the corner of his right eye, Hikaru turned his head ever so slightly so he could have a better view of the gennin that had just challenged him, so to speak. A single blue pupil locked onto those of Rayout as the sky continued to turn from a shade of violet to blue, rays of sunlight fell around the three shinobi standing on top the tower and warmed Hikaru’s cold skin.
There was tension in his body, surges through his muscles and veins in search of a way out. Rayout had already gotten on his bad side but putting himself in danger, and now, he’d just put the Raikage in the spotlight on his own territory. This made for a bad ending, approaching very rapidly. Under normal circumstances Hikaru would act out of frustration, but this time around, he took a slightly different approach. Throwing his head back, and pointing his blond points at Rayout in the process, Hikaru began to fill the air with a thunderous wave of laughter, coming straight from the gut.
A team of shinobi dawning Kumogakure headbands ascended to the top of the tower to see what all the commotion was. They took up their position in front of Zettai and Hikaru. Hikaru, on the other hand, spun around so that he could now lay both eyes on Rayout as oppose to just one.
”…You wouldn’t even survive a training session with me.”
Just as suddenly as it had begin, Hikaru’s laughter ceased. His face became strictly above business, he had much to attend to today and couldn’t run around playing reindeer games any longer.
”I’ll even test you to prove it at this spot tomorrow…if your brave enough to come back, that is.”
Hikaru remarked with a smirk, he was obviously baiting the gennin in for something. After that, he turned his head toward Zettai, he hadn’t forgotten about him yet.
”Feel free to return to the dining hall and eat, just avoid the Wasabi this time around. You may also stay in one of the rooms on the fifth floor for as long as you must.”
Hikaru explained, and then he vanished. He simply disappeared into thin air, the only thing left in his wake was a puff of smoke that quickly drifted off in the wind. The Kumo ninja that came up disappeared as well without a word, leaving Zettai and Rayout to whatever they planned on doing for the rest of the day. Hikaru, on the other hand, was literally locked inside his office with a pen tied to his hand. He wanted to knock out as much of this paper work as he could, after all, he had bigger things to attend to….like Konohagakure.
