A world map is a graphic representation or scale model of spatial concepts. It is a means for conveying geographical information. Maps are a universal medium for communication, easily understood and appreciated by most people. Becides, maps are widely used in an attack or defence of a country. Thus, learning geography is extremely relevent and compulsory in the shinobi academy. Understanding Our World Map The world as we know it is divided into five major countries or powers and several small ones. In each of these counties, there is a hidden village that churns out powerful ninjas. The most powerful nin in a village is know as a Kage. Konoha is such a village and she is also known as the hidden village of the leaf. (The Kage in Konoha is known as the Hokage and currently the person holding the position is none other than Tsunade.) The missions that you might encounter as a shinobi will bring you all around this map. So look at the world map below closely because today's lesson is to memorize this world map so you won't get lost on those coming missions:
